I was 8 years old when I started playing the drums.
My parents bought an electric drumkit and I tried learning things from youtube, later on I started following private drumlessons and I was improving fast.
Later on we bought my first actual drumkit, it was a Pearl Target.
I practiced the drums on and off for about 4 years and than I decided to pick it up again.
One of the biggest purchases made so far is a Tama Superstar HyperDrive which I still use to this day.

At the end of 2020 my sister started learning piano which of course made me want to try it too.
During the summer holidays in 2021 I bought a Kawai ES520 and it was the best purchase I’ve ever made.

After experimenting a around a bit on the piano I wanted to try and make my own songs, the songs were terrible but it was a start.
During the winter holidays we returned to the music store and bought an audio Interface, a microphone, studio monitors and a few cables, this set introduced me to Ableton and a better way of producing music.
In the beginning I was trying many different things to see what worked for me and what didn’t.
I also made my first Soundcloud account where I’d post my first few songs.

Around I bought my first bass, it was a Legend P-bass.

It mostly layed around for the first few months, but the last year I’ve been taking it more serious and I have even performed as a Bassist in Simplon in Groningen.
During the winter holidays in 2022 I bought a Marcus Miller V3, this was also one of the best purchases I have ever made.

In April 2022 I auditioned for a music school in Groningen as a producer but eventually got accepted as a drummer, which in my opinion was a way better choice.
This school teaches me a lot of useful stuff and it gave me the oppertunity to perform at diverse venues in Groningen.
The school also gives me the oppertunity to meet many more people with the same interest as me and gives me more chances than I could’ve ever imagined I’d get.
My first year in school is almost over and in the upcoming few weeks we’ll be working towards an event called Impressfest.

In Octobre of 2022 my sister said she wanted to start a YouTube channel where she’d upload covers of her singing songs she likes, and it’s called “Covers by Montana“.

Over the past few months we’ve made multiple covers and even worked together with someone who lives in the middle of the Netherlands.

Currently I am working on meeting new people, exploring new genres such as jazz and funk and expanding my portfolio.
